1. Who runs it
ShowMyProduct is run by @akbuilds_ on X (“we”). The quickest way to reach us is a DM on X.
2. Your account
You sign in with your X account. We only read your X id, handle, name and profile picture. You’re responsible for what’s posted from your account. One poster per account at a time.
3. What you can paste
Paste something you built or have the right to promote. Don’t paste:
- scams, phishing, malware, or links that go somewhere other than what the poster says;
- adult content, hate, harassment, violence, or anything illegal where you or your visitors are;
- other people’s products, trademarks, images or work without their permission;
- anything pretending to be someone else.
Don’t try to game the wall, its counts or its checks, and don’t paste over other people’s posters.
4. Your poster, and what we can do with it
You keep everything you own in your poster. You give us a free, worldwide permission to show it and the details you entered (title, line, link, category, image or video) on ShowMyProduct and anywhere we promote it: on the wall, on its own page, in the archive, The Wall Weekly and monthly reports, in link previews and share cards, in our sitemap and llms.txt, and in posts about the wall. We may resize it, make thumbnails and cards from it, and compress images and video.
A poster stays on the wall for 30 days. Its page stays on the site after that, so the product keeps a permanent, linkable home. You can take your poster down at any time: that removes it from the wall, deletes its image or video, and tells search engines to drop its page. To have its page removed completely, DM us on X.
5. Posting on X, and the badge
Publishing a poster needs a post about it on X from your own account, with its link. That post is yours, under X’s rules; deleting it later doesn’t take your poster down. The badge for your own site is optional, and you can remove it whenever you like.
6. Numbers
Seen, clicks, sources, places and the rest are our best count, not an audited figure. We filter out bots where we can, but no count is perfect, and we may fix or recount numbers.
7. Taking things down, and changing the site
We can remove any poster or page, or block an account, if we think it breaks these terms or harms visitors, other builders or the wall. We’ll try to tell you why. ShowMyProduct is a free project: we may change, pause or stop any part of it, including the wall itself.
8. No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We don’t vouch for the products on the wall: check them yourself before you buy or sign up for anything. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens on the sites posters link to. Nothing here limits rights you have under laws that can’t be overridden.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.
